The Road to Oblivion

Now isn’t that a strange name for just about any sort of thoroughfare? Who would have thought that there could be a real street or road named Souls Road? Yet if you run a simple search in Google for that term you’ll turn up lots of entries for streets and roads all over the world that have that same name.

Now that makes me wonder where they might be located. Are they near a cemetery? Do they lead into a cemetery? Where they the roads that so many people made their last journey down before coming to their final resting place? The names of streets and roads can tell us much about the past history of a place and this is one road name that speaks volumes.
